This is a mostly Supernatural blog that occasionally forays into other fandoms, as well as art [fandom and non]. There's very little originality here, as this is mainly a collection of stuff that I like and thus reblog on Tumblr.

Audio post - Played 2 times

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

I love last.fm, but I’m glad the CD player in my car can’t scrobble because then people would know how many times I’ve listened to this song in the past week.

Have you ever known a song for years, but then get obsessed with it out of nowhere? This is one of those instances.

And how many times have I prayed that I would get lost along the way?

Quote reblogged from do not mistake my appetite for apathy with 711 notes

If I were on the Iron Throne and I had to choose a Hand, I would want Tyrion. He seems to have every angle covered. But assuming I can’t have a Westerosi character, I would choose Sigmund Freud. He could get to work on Joffrey and Cersei’s complex relationship, and I would get Joffrey an electric guitar and lessons from Metallica as he needs to channel his blistering fury into something less psychopathic.

Post

Driving home from a late closing shift. It’s been raining off and on all day. The route I take home - while a state road - is a twisty two-lane through the woods that’s bad to drive on under the best of circumstances, let alone at night with fog from all the rain and humidity.

I find myself stopped in the middle of the road at 11:30 pm, facing another stopped car coming in the opposite direction. Surrounded by fog, we’re both beeping our horns at a herd of deer that decided to chill out in the middle of Babcock Blvd, hoping desperately that someone doesn’t come whipping around a curve and hit one of us. The guy in the other car finally just gets out and starts waving his arms, which finally scares them off.

I roll down my window and pull my car forward, and we commiserate on the misery of Pennsylvania back roads for a moment.

It’s weird that this made me so happy to be home, but there you go.

I still remember the brouhaha that went on in third grade when I lost the school library copy of The Celery Stalks at Midnight, the sequel to Bunnicula.
I ended up finding it wedged behind my bookshelf last year. Fifteen years or so since I originally lost it.
I should really clean my room more often.
